 35 extremists killed in Khyber Agency

35 extremists killed in Khyber Agency BARA: The security forces Saturday launched an operation in Khyber Agency area of Tirah and killed at least 35 extremists; also, an important center of Lashkar-e-Islam has been destroyed in Gagreena.

According to media cell of Frontier Cell NWFP, the security forces pounded various hideouts of extremists and launched operation in Sandapaal and Gagreena areas of Tirah in Tehsil Landi Kotal.

According to the media cell, at least 35 extremists have been killed in the crackdown and seven vehicles have been destroyed.

According to media cell, a center of Lashkar-e-Islam used as training center and a hideout in Gagreena.

Meantime, at least 15 houses of extremists have been razed in Qamarkhel area of Tehsil Bara.
