Heavy rain in twin cities turns weather pleasant
ISLAMABAD: Different areas of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad received heavy rainfall early Saturday morning that turned the weather pleasant, Geo News reported.

According to the Meteorological Department of Pakistan (MDP), the spell of rainfall along with thunderstorm is likely to continue at different places for the next 24 hours.

The early morning shower in the twin cities decreased the mercury level, bringing relief to the citizens who are already affected by prolonged loadshedding.

In Multan, the local met office had forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of dust raising winds in the city and its suburbs today.

On Friday, the maximum and minimum recorded temperatures were 41.4 and 32.7 degrees Celsius respectively.

At 8 am, 57 percent humidity was recorded while 37 percent at 5 pm.

The met office had also predicted partly cloudy weather with chances of drizzle in Karachi today with maximum temperature ranging from 33 to 35 degrees.

The highest maximum temperature of 46 degrees centigrade was recorded in Dalbandin and lowest minimum of 15.00 degree centigrade in Kalat yesterday.
