On-going violence leaves five dead across Karachi
KARACHI: Armed violence during the overnight hours left at least five people dead throughout Karachi on Friday night.

According to reports homicides were reported from a number of districts and among the killed were mostly men.

Early on Friday morning, unknown gunmen killed a man in Lee Market area who could not be identified yet.

In another deadly incident that took place in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Colony, police found the body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The police pronounced him dead on the spot before sending the body for an autopsy.

In addition to that a man was gunned down in Orangi Town’s Qasba Colony, whereas another man, identified as Jallad Khan, was shot and killed in the Katti Pahari area. He was 40. The dead body was moved to hospital for medicolegal formalities.

There in Baldia Town’s Block A-25, unknown armed men claimed the life of one, Rana, by shooting him dead.

There were no arrests in the aforementioned cases as of Friday night.
