Khoro suspends 11 education officers over corruption charges

RATODERO: Sindh's senior minister for education Nisar Khuhro has suspended 11 education officers of Larkana district on fraud and corrouption allegations.

They include EDO Elementary Gulsher Soomro of BS-19, Naseeban Katpar DO Headquarter of BS-19, School Head Master of BS-19 Nazir Jatoi, Assistants Bashir Abbasi, Lal Dino Kalhoro, Mukhtiar Soomro & Muhammad Yaqoob Memon, Assistant Accounts Officer Mumtaz Khaskheli, Senior Clerks Rafique Jatoi and Maqsoon Ahmed.

Despite serious corruption, fraud and embazzelment charges against these officials, they were posted again on the same posts without knowledge of the Education Minister.

On hearing this news, the Minister for education took notice and immediately suspended them and has also ordered inquiry against all of them.

Nisar Khuhro further said that he continue to work hard for restoration of the education standard in the province and if any of the officer is found involved in corruption allegation, he would face the music.

The allegations against the above suspended officers/officials are bogus appointments during the last five years in education department and withdrawal of millions of rupees from GP Fund accounts of various retired employees in collusion with the employees of district accounts officer, Larkana.

Legal action against them is still eagerly awaited.
