PESHAWAR: Established with an aim to administer prompt justice to the people, the very first mobile court of Pakistan has formally started holding proceedings here.
The mobile court was established on the directive of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC), Dost Muhammad Khan with a view to dispense expeditious and free justice to the masses in the province.
The mobile court on the first day of its launch visited Hayatabad area and held proceedings of 31 cases and issued verdicts on 29 of them. Mobile court judge, Fazal Walood conducted hearing on a mix of civil and criminal cases today.
