ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani student has set a new world record by walking away with most of the A-Grades (As) in International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), O-Level and A-Level exams, Geo News reported.
According to a handout issued by Froebel's International School (FIS), Haroon Tariq beat the current world record by securing a total 40 As across IGCSE subjects spanning both the humanities and sciences such as Human & Social Biology, Islamic Religion & Culture, Physics, Chemistry, Global Development etc.
Overall, Pakistani students bagged a plethora of As and A+s at the Edexcel in Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A Level examinations June 2013 session.
