43 suspects detained during Karachi targeted operation

KARACHI: At least 43 suspects were detained from different areas of the city during targeted operation conducted by the police.

The operation was conducted in Baldia Town, Peerabad, Orangi Town and Sharafi Goth. SP Orangi Town Chaudhry Asad said 20 suspects were detained during a search operation in the Pakistan Bazaar area and three TT pistols were recovered from their possession.

Three susopctes believed to be involved in a cracker ball explosion were arrested from Peerabad. Police also seized an unregistered motorcycle during the raid.

SP Baldia Town, Shahjehan Khan said that 18 suspects had been detained during search operations, while weapons and narcotics were also seized.

Meanwhile, two suspects were detained from Sharafi Goth.
