KARACHI: An alleged terror bid was foiled when police raided an empty house in Shah Faisal Colony area and recovered huge cache of arms Tuesday, Geo News reported.
While addressing a press conference, SSP East Pir Muhammad Shah told reporters that police conducted a raid on an empty house in Shah Faisal Colony after getting information, and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
It included four Kalashnikovs, four 9mm pistols, three TT pistols and hundreds of bullets.
SSP East Muhammad Shah said the owner of the house will also be interrogated. Some documents were also found from the house that belong to London, he added.
The official claimed that the accused were planning to target a Muharram-ul-Haram procession in Shah Faisal Colony tonight.
