ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner, Dr. T. C. A. Raghavan called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Wednesday here, Geo News reported.
Sources said that Indo-Pak bilateral ties and matters of mutual interests came under discussion during this meeting.
Prime Minter Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan wanted to resolve all contentious issues which needed settlement with India. Pakistan wants peaceful and friendly relations not only with India, but also with all the neighbouring countries, he said.
Nawaz Sharif said closer ties between Pakistan and India could open up a new era of peace and prosperity in the region.
The prime minister said the restoration of dialogue with India was a top priority, adding that the people of Pakistan and India have no alternative but to live as good neighbours peacefully.
