Police overnight torture held MQM worker, dump him in hospital

KARACHI: The bridegroom, an MQM worker Fahad held last night after third degree police torture has been admitted into a private hospital in critical condition on Sunday morning here, Geo News reported.

Hospital sources said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) held worker Fahad Aziz was shifted in a critical condition by the police at 7.30 A.M. Sunday morning to Darus Sehat, a private hospital located in Gulistan-e-Jauhar here. In view of his highly unstable condition, Fahad kept in the ICU ward being attended by top doctors of the hospital, who were trying to save his life, sources said.

Sources said that Fahad was in the overnight custody of East Zone police and his body bore severe torture marks.

Fahad Aziz, an MQM worker of unit 79 was arrested last night when his marriage party was passing through the Shah Faisal Colony Bridge here,
