PESHAWAR: Member Taliban negotiating committee, Professor Ibrahim says the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are not willing to hold talks with the government committee in North Waziristan.
In an interview with Geo News reporter Shakeel Farman Ali, Professor Ibrahim said the government committee should move the dialogue process further without wasting any time.
Professor Ibrahim added that the Taliban wanted to hold talks outside of North Waziristan and the government committee should decide on a location soon.
According to Professor Ibrahim the dialogue process will not stop even if the Taliban’s proposals of army withdrawal from two districts of South Waziristan and the releases of non-combatant prisoners are not implemented.
The Taliban negotiating committee member further said they wanted to meet with the leadership of the army to discuss the dialogue process.
