ISLAMABAD: Head of Taliban negotiating team, Maulana Samiul Haq has said that ups and downs, delay, disagreements and complaints are routine matter of dialogue process, Geo News reported.
In a statement here Thursday, Maulana Samiul Haq said efforts were being made for extension in ceasefire besides progress in other matters. He called upon Taliban and the government to observe restrain in the prevailing situation.
Maulana Sami said he wanted to save the situation from further worsening after Taliban announced not to extend the ceasefire, however, he said it was satisfactory that TTP left the doors of dialogues open.
‘Although the government is facing major issues but peace is the base to redress all such matters’, he asserted. He urged the government to focus on what he called important and sensitive issue of dialogues.
