Five passengers killed as van catches fire near Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: At least five passengers were killed and three others injured when a fire erupted in a van on Chakri road, Geo News reported late Friday night.

Rescue sources said that the incident took place near Chak Jalal village, some 45 kilometer from Rawalpindi.

The dead and injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital.
