General Rashad made Colonel-in-Chief of Baloch Regiment Centre

RAWALPINDI: General Rashad Mahmood (Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee, CJCSC) was installed as Colonel in Chief of Baloch Regiment in a simple but impressive ceremony, at Baloch Regiment Centre, Abbotabad today.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Former Chief of Army Staff, General (Retired) Ashfaq Pervez Kayani pinned the badges of rank on the shoulders of General Rashad Mahmood, to formally install him as Colonel in Chief of Baloch Regiment.

Later, General Rashad Mahmood, CJCSC pinned the badges of rank on the shoulders of Lieutenant General Qamar Javed Bajwa, to formally install him as Colonel Commandant of Baloch Regiment.

Earlier on arrival, the Chief guest visited the Quarter Guard and laid wreath on "Yadgar-e-Shuhada". A large number of senior and retired military officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Jawans of Baloch Regiment attended the ceremony.
