People reject closure, propaganda against Geo

KARACHI: People have rejected the closure and ongoing propaganda against Geo.

Viewers complained of the closure of Geo and placement of the channel far behind its original number on cable networks. People have termed the closure of Geo News on cable networks unacceptable.

People said Geo News is the channel which keeps them informed by providing credible coverage of events. Rejecting propaganda against the channel, people said laws should be applicable for all not just Geo.

They said cable operators did not have the right to close Geo News and their trust remained with the channel despite numerous conspiracies.
