NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House here on Tuesday.
The 45 minute meeting had a 5-point agenda according to reports in the India media. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Modi discussed measures to eliminate terrorist activity and issues related to the Mumbai terror attacks.
Indian media reported Modi expressed his confidence in the ongoing trial pertaining to the Mumbai attacks in Pakistan. A decision to hold a meeting between the interior secretaries of the countries was also taken.
The two leaders also discussed setting up a mechanism to eliminate terrorism from the region.
