Gen Raheel, Afghan ambassador discuss NWA operation

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met with the Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan Janan Mosazai and discussed the on-going operation in North Waziristan Agency along with other matters of mutual interest on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

The meeting was held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both the officials discussed the on-going operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan and matters of mutual interest including measures to improve security along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
