LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah's resignation over the incident in Lahore outside the Minhaj-ul-Quran International secretariat in which nine people lost their lives.
While addressing a press conference in Lahore, the Punjab Chief Minister said, that he has asked Rana Sanaullah to resign and has also removed his secretary who had been serving with him for the last 15 years.
The Chief Minister added that one more victim of the Model Town incident expired today, and he is in favour of a judicial inquiry and if the MQI is not satisfied with a High Court commission they may approach the Supreme Court as well.
