Traffic wardens amid 4 injured in Multan firing
MULTAN: Four persons including two traffic wardens were injured in firing by some unknown persons on Saturday morning here, Geo News reported.

Police said that the traffic wardens in front of Chehleek police station near Kachehri Road had stopped two motorbike riders Nasir and Shakil on violation of traffic rules, when during the issuance of challan some unknown persons coming from behind opened fire injuring Nasir and Shakil including Senior Inspector Warden Hamid Ali and traffic warden Wasimul Huque, while the gunmen managed to escape from the scene. All the four injured persons were rushed to the Nishtar Hospital.

Police station Chehleek said that Nasir and Shakil were on way back from Kachehri after appearance in the court case and it was likely that their opponents have opened fire, however further investigation was in progress.
