LAHORE: Four dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter in Iqbal town, Lahore on late Saturday night, Geo News reported.
Police, on a tip-off, conducted raid at a house in Raza Block, where dacoits opened fire on them. In retaliatory fire, four accused were killed, according to police.
Those killed in the police encounter have been identified as Ali Hassan, Zol Khan, Usman and Noor Elahi.
The accused were wanted to police in several cases. They had also killed an inspector of Motorway police on resistance in Wahdat colony a few days back.
