ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government committees held second round of talks here on Friday night and agreed to continue dialogue process, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media following the meeting, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in the meeting, the government presented its viewpoint on his party’s demands.
In the meeting today, both the committee presented their reservations.
Meanwhile, Ahsan Iqbal, member government talks team, said: “both parties are understanding each others stance and moving forward”. They will consult their leadership, he added.
Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch said both parties fully agreed on dialogue process, adding talks will continue. He asserted that there was not any deadlock or deadline.
It was second round of talks between PTI and government. The government team will again meet PTI committee today (Saturday).
