LHC upholds orders to lodge cases against PM, CM Punjab
LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by four federal ministers and upheld the orders issued by Additional Sessions Judge Lahore in connection with Lahore’s Model Town tragedy.

The LHC upheld the orders to register a case against 21 individuals including Prime Minister, Chief Minister Punjab and federal ministers.

Today, Justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa issued the court’s short order which said the petitioners failed to produce concrete legal justification against the decision of Justice of Peace.

Earlier, four federal ministers including Pervez Rashid, Khawaja Asif, Saad Rafique and Abid Sher Ali had in their personal capacities challenged the orders of Additional Sessions Judge.
