2 children, woman killed as mortar shell hits house in Khyber Agency

KHYBER AGENCY: Two children and a woman were killed when a mortar shell landed at a house in Khyber Agency.

Sources said that the shell landed at the house located in Aka Khel area of Tehseel Bara, killing two children and a woman and injuring four other people of a family.

Identities of the deceased were yet to be known. Pakistan security forces have been battling against banned Lashkar-e-Islam group in the Khyber Agency.

On Sunday, five militants were killed and seven other injured in clashes with the security forces. A security official was also killed in the clashes that took place in Bara Tehseel.
