Inappropriate to label seminary students as terrorists: Shujaat

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Saturday said it was inappropriate to label seminary students as terrorists.

According to a statement issued here, PML-Q chief said the motive of a student is to get education, adding that those involved in terrorism cannot be called students.

“I had prepared a report about seminaries within a month when I was the interior minister”, Shujaat added.

Quoting his report, Shujaat said ‘no seminary was seen imparting terror-inspiring education to students and we had also introduced modern computer education in the seminaries’.
