PESHAWAR: Drone strike on Monday killed at least four people in Pakistan´s restive tribal region near the Afghan border.
The strike took place in the Shawal area of North Waziristan, sources said.
According to sources, the unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at a compound in Shawal area killing at least four people.
North Waziristan is one of seven semi-autonomous tribal districts that border Afghanistan.
Pakistan had launched a long-awaited push to clear the tribal region from insurgent last June after a bloody Taliban attack on Karachi airport sank faltering peace talks.
