MUZAFFARGARH: At least three people including two women were injured as Indian forces continued unprovoked shelling across the border in Pakistan’s Nikial and Goi Sector in sheer violation of ceasefire agreement between the two countries on Sunday.
Sources said intense Indian shelling at Nikial Sector targeted civilian population on Sunday early morning.
They said the Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to Indian aggression across the Line of Control.
On Saturday, a man was killed and four others including two women were injured when an Indian shell landed in a wedding ceremony in a village located in the same area.
Islamabad has lodged strong protest against Indian firing with the New Delhi and the United Nations.
