Yousuf Raza Gilani's nephew Murtaza Gilani martyred in Mina

MULTAN: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's nephew Asad Murtaza Gilani was martyred in yesterday's Mina stampede, according to father of the deceased, Wajahat Gilani.

Wajahat Gilani confirmed his son's death on Friday night.

It was earlier reported that amongst the scores of missing Pakistanis was also Murtaza Gilani, former MNA and nephew of Yousuf Raza Gilani.

His family had said they had lost contact with him since the stampede occurred in Mina.

The family had also said they had contacted the Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia to find whereabouts of Murtaza who was performing his third Haj.
