ISLAMABAD: The district administration of Pakistan’s federal capital has banned all kind of celebrations in connections with the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Sources told Geo News that the ban was put in place following orders from the Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The district administration of Islamabad in its announcement said strict action will be taken against those celebrating the Valentine’s Day in any part of the capital city.
Valentine’s Day, also known as Saint Valentine’s Day, is observed across the world on February 14.
