Kite string slashes boy’s neck

A young boy was injured when a kite string slashed his neck in Lahore’s Manawan area, police stated.

The injured boy, a 10th grader, was shifted to Services Hospital in the provincial capital, officials added.

Kite flying has been banned in Punjab for several years owing to the injuries and fatalities its strings cause.
