LAHORE: At least one woman was killed after the roof of a two-storey building collapsed in Lahore's Sanda area, in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, the body of a woman, identified as Rubina, was recovered from inside the rubble of the two-storey building, after the roof had collapsed.
The roof was extremely worn-out and had collapsed as a result of being unable to sustain any further, added rescue sources.
The body of the deceased woman was shifted to Mayo Hospital.
