SHAIKHUPURA: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan Wednesday said one (party) takes its turn after the other and asked as to how long the ‘game of musical chair’ for power will continue.
Addressing a public gathering as part of PTI’s ongoing poll campaign, Imran Khan accused the outgoing Punjab government of misusing development funds for achieving political gains.
He asked the Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif as to why a local bodies system was not installed in the Punjab. “This did not allow people’s funds to be spent on their development,” he regretted, adding that the former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif ‘took control of these funds and used them for political gains’.
Talking about minorities’ rights, Imran Khan said people belonging to minorities’ communities are also Pakistanis and claimed that the new system will not make any discrimination among Pakistanis.
He promised to implement a uniform system of education across the country besides dispensing women’s rights.
