Seven workers killed as factory boiler explodes in Jhang

Two injured workers said to be in critical condition

SHORKOT: At least seven workers were killed Tuesday when a boiler exploded at a private sugar mill in Shorkot tehsil of Punjab's Jhang district.

The explosion in the mill, located in Cantt area of Shorkot, also left eight others injured, who were shifted to a the hospital.

Two of the injured workers were said to be in critical condition.

Police reached the sugar mill shortly after the blast and started their investigation into the incident.
