NEW DELHI: Indian authorities detained 35 Pakistani nationals for having incomplete documents in Ramdevra District of Rajasthan, Indian media reported.

The Pakistani citizens were detained because they did not have a visa for Rajasthan, but only for Mathura and Haridwar, Indian media reported.

The citizens from Umerkot, where a large Hindu minority lives, were visiting India to pay their respects at the Baba Ram Dev Temple, they said.

Ramdevra police officials said that higher authorities have been informed about the arrest and action would be taken as per their instructions.
