KARACHI: Lyari Aman Committee Chief Uzair Baloch may be sent to jail after his 14-day remand ends today.
Sindh Rangers had handed over Lyari gangster Uzair Baloch to the police at the end of a 90-day physical remand in the paramilitary’s custody on April 27.
Baloch confessed to 197 murders in the Joint Interrogation Report compiled by Rangers, sources told Geo News.
In a separate incident, a search operation by security forces at Liaquatabad area on Tuesday resulted in the arrest of two workers of a political party.
The suspects were identified as Kashif and Abid alias Mota, security forces said.
