NEW DELHI: Pakistani wrestlers Azhar Hussain and Muhammed Inam sealed berth in final of free-style wrestling on the 7th day in Commonwealth Games, Geo News reported Sunday.
Azhar Hussain showed excellence when he routed India’s Anil Kumar 3-1 in 55-kg category of free-style wrestling.
Hussain later beat S Manel Kumar Yaparathna Mudeyanselage of Sri Lanka in just 28 seconds in the semi-final to earn a title clash with Ebikewenimo Welson of Nigeria, who defeated Scott Andrew Gregory of England in the other semifinal.
In 84-kg category of free-style wrestling, Muhammed Inam moved past into the final by defeating Gerald Waldemar Meyer of South Africa in another tough semi-final.
