FAISALABAD: A fight over a mobile phone charger led one brother to throw acid on his sibling’s face, it emerged on Monday.
The incident occurred at Kunjwani Chak 541, in the outskirts of Faisalabad, when Sharafat Ali threw acid at his younger brother Ashraf Ali’s face for using his mobile phone charger without his permission, police said.
Ashraf was taken to Allied Hospital where doctors claimed his face and chest had received 40 percent burn injuries.
Sharafat Ali fled the scene of crime, police said.
