FAISALABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that the dictator had dragged Pakistan into darkness and history does not forgive anyone.

The prime minister was addressing the inauguration ceremony of 40 megawatts coal fired power project at the Sitara Chemical Industries.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said people were in desperate need for electricity in the country and the government’s goal was to make it cheaper for people. “I am certain there will be no more power outages in 2018,” Prime Minister Sharif said.

The prime minister further said the government was stablising Pakistan’s economy and improving the country’s infrastructure. “World has said we have acquired the status of an emerging economy”.

According to the Prime Minister, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) would be made into one the best airlines in the world, while the condition of Pakistan Railways was also improving.

The prime minister added that the attack in Mardan was unfortunate and terrorists were hitting soft targets.

On Karachi, the prime minister said the city would regain its lost status as circumstances in the metropolis were improving.
