NOWSHERA: An FIR filed by the Motorway Police against security officers on September 10 has been sealed and an investigation over it has been stopped.

Police received a written request by the security forces accusing the Motorway Police of misconduct and beating up security personnel, sources in the police department said. As a result the FIR has been sealed and amendments are being made on it, police said.

If a second request from the Security Forces is receivers the FIR will be unsealed automatically and investigation will begin.

DSP Motorway Jaan Bahadur said that on September 10 an FIR was registered against 33 officials of the security forces. He said that the Motorway Police had issued the security forces a ticket for over speeding. He alleged that the security forces officials had beat up the Motorway Police officials.

According to the ISPR an investigation over the incident is underway and justice will be served to both parties.
