KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Friday said that he would make sure those involved in the sale of counterfeit medicines are arrested and sent to jail.
During a meeting with the Department of Health earlier today, CM Murad Ali Shah said that a case would be registered against concerned officials in whichever areas counterfeit medicines are being sold.
He said that he would not rest until all those involved in the sale of fake medicines are held accountable and punished.
The chief minister questioned the Health Department officials as to how such medicines were still being sold in the province. He lamented that the Sindh government was spending billions but was still unable to benefit the poor.
