One police dead in Swabi grenade attack

SWABI: At least a police personnel was killed in a hand grenade attack in Police Lines in Swabi, Geo News reported Monday.

Several people are reportedly injured in the attack, a police source said.

According to police sources, several people were injured in the blast at the gate of Shah Mansoor Police Lines.

One attacker has also been killed in the exchange fire in police and unidentified miscreants that ensued after grenade attack and is currently underway.

The police put security cordon around the area.

The injured are being transported to the hospital.
