ISLAMABAD: There was a heated exchange between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeemul Haque and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur outside the Supreme Court on Thursday.
Naeemul Haque complained that Gandapur was hurling abuses which prompted Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed to inform Haque that they were live on TV and he should speak softly.
After this bitter exchange, Sheikh Rasheed and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur left the rostrum used to address the media outside the apex court.
Speaking to Geo News, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said he was pushed by Naeemul Haque. "Naeemul Haque pushed me with his hands and said his ‘Shahenshah’ (emperor) was coming," Gandapur said.

Leaders argue over apology
Naeemul Haque and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur once again got into a heated exchange.
The two leaders argued over who would apologise. Naeemul Haque told Gandapur he had to apologise first as he had used abusive language, to which the PAT leader refused.
“I will not apologise...we do not have right to speak to the media? Only they have that right?” Gandapur could be heard saying as others around them tried to calm the situation.
‘I was abused by Gandapur’
Naeemul Haque said he was abused by Gandapur and prior to this incident he did not even know who the PAT leader was.
“We have decided to complain to the leader of his political party over his (Gandapur’s) use of foul language and attitude.”
Haque added that Gandapur had come and stood where Imran Khan was supposed to address. “I just gestured for him (Gandapur) to move and he starting using abusive language. Aizaz Chaudhry placed his hand on my mouth and Sheikh Rasheed tried to calm the situation. I condemn this act and have not used this type of language.”
