PPP leadership calls high-level meeting in Dubai

DUBAI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari called a high-level party meeting on Tuesday in Dubai, sources informed on Sunday.

According to sources, the session will be attended by Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Zardari, and senior party leaders from all four provinces.

Party sources said in the meeting key topics for discussion will be Panama Leaks, Security Leaks, and organizational matters of the party.

The venue for the party’s Foundation Day will be discussed, sources revealed, adding that chances are it will be held in Bilawal House in Lahore on Nov 23.

In the session, various recommendations regarding anti-government campaigns will be brought under discussion.

The meeting comes as a backdrop of PPP opposing the formation of an inquiry commission for investigating the Panama Leaks, which made Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family come under fire after their names cropped up in the leaked documents from a Panamian law firm.
