CHITRAL: The first batch of relief goods from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority reached the areas affected by heavy snowfall.
At least 14 people were killed in an avalanche in Chitral's Sher Shah area on Sunday. Land-routes to the area have been blocked and the National Disaster Management Authority sent a helicopter for rescue and relief efforts.
Several families are trapped inside the affected area.
