Eight militants killed in Orakzai agency

PESHAWAR: The Security Forces on Thursday killed eight militants in restive upper Orakzai agency, official said.

Security forces used artillery to target the militants positions in upper Orakzai agency. Two hideouts of terrorists destroyed by artillery shelling.

Separately the security forces and police launched joint search operation in Hangu district and arrested 130 suspects. The operation was launched following remote bomb attack on vehicle of the forces that killed one troop and injured six others. Police also seized 10 klashinkovs, four hand grenades and twelve rifles.
