PESHAWAR: A powerful blast, occurred in Armarh area near Peshawar, has injured three policemen on Sunday morning, Geo News reported.

According to Geo News correspondent, the area Armarh, 10 kilometers away from provincial capital, is abound in camps of Afghan Muhagirs besides being home to many small and big markets.

The blast was triggered through a planted explosives on roadside as three policemen sustained injuries in result of explosion, police sources said.

“It was a targeted blast aiming at police personnel who were on routine patrolling on a police mobile van when the explosives went off,” a police officer told Geo News.

Wounded men have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical attainment, he said.
