LAHORE: Firefighters were able to extinguish a fire that broke out in a shoe factory in Timber Market on Ravi Road early Saturday.
Eight fire trucks doused the fire for two and a half hours before it was contained, rescue sources said.
The fire did not cause any loss of life," Deputy Commissioner Samir Ahmed said.
"The cooling process is underway," rescue sources told Geo News.
Due to the intensity of the blaze, surrounding buildings were evacuated.
