One killed in Bannu blast

BANNU: At least one person was killed in a powerful explosion that allegedly ripped through a police station near Melad Park in Bannu district, sources said.

Police and rescue teams have arrived on the blast site. Some sources said the blast took place at a City police station.

Police sources confirmed killing of one person. Officials have cordoned off the blast scene while the rescue activities have been kicked off.

Death toll may further rise, police said.
