UN representative calls on Malik

ISLAMABAD: The United Nations Special Representative for Flood hit-areas Engin Soysal called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed the rehabilitation of flood victims.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that Pakistan highly appreciated the UN Secretary General for his efforts for raising funds for flood victims.

He said the UN General Secretary personally visited the devastated areas and appealed for quick response from the international community.

Engin Soysal assured that the UN would continue support till complete rehabilitation of the flood victims.
