LAYYAH: Eight people died and 23 were injured in a traffic accident here on Crore Road late Tuesday night, Geo News reported.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus – en route from Karachi to Rawalpindi – and a tractor-trolley collided on Crore Road, near the city's adjoining forest, police explained.
Of the wounded, 15 were transferred to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital whereas eight were moved to the District Headquarters Hospital, officials stated further.
