ISLAMABAD: Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has claimed that the premier does not own any shares or has ever drawn salary from the company FZE Capital.
He added, while talking to The News, that there is no evidence that the prime minister has any share in the said company or any salary was transferred to his account.
"If any salary was ever transferred to the account of the prime minister from this company, the Sharif family must be penalised for it," said Hussain while talking to The News.
Hussain added that the company is owned by the Sharif family but the premier never held any shares and he was appointed chairman simply for facilitation of visa and visits to UAE in 2006.
The company was dissolved in 2014, the prime minister's son claimed.
The News reported that the JAFZA letter mentioned the salary from the same appointment letter.
